Principal's Message - June 7, 2024
Hello Wales Families!
We hope that everyone had a great week. As we launch into our last month of school this year, we have many exciting events planned for our students. Please be sure to check the calendar of events below and the ones sent home by your child’s classrooms.
Next week on Tuesday we will be hosting our annual field day. This event is a fun day for our students. Only family members who have signed up to volunteer can attend. We are thankful for our volunteers, but this event is not open to the public or spectators.
Please remember to send your child dressed for the weather, including sunblock on Tuesday. If you are able, please send your child in a shirt that has the colors listed below on it. Also, please remember to send your child with a refillable water bottle labeled with their name on it. One of the stations is a water slide. If your child wants to wear their swimsuit under their clothing, they can. It is also helpful to send your child with a change of clothes and a towel. If there are thunderstorms or heavy rain, we will move our stations indoors and have modified stations to accommodate the change.

Thank you in advance to our PTO for coordinating the event, providing lunch for our children and to all the volunteers that day that come to help.
On 6/14 we will host our 3rd grade moving up day ceremony and on 6/17 our 4th grade ceremony. These events will be in our gym. The doors will not open until 12:30 for our audience. Please do not park in our driveway, directly in front of the school, this is our fire lane and needs to be kept clear from traffic.
