Curriculum & instruction support the strengths and needs of both students & teachers. Authentic assessments guide future instruction and curricular decisions, while providing clear, concise feedback. Through an aligned scope & sequence, high-interest, student-centered instruction, and relevant professional development, we meet the needs of all learners to develop literate individuals.

Instruction
We believe our instruction will be:
- Thoughtful, flexible and of high interest.
- Differentiated to meet the needs of all learners.
- Student driven and balanced between explicit and workshop model
- Teaches students in an engaging, hands-on way.
Assessment
We believe assessment should:
- Be authentic and varied
- Provide feedback to all stake-holders through efficiently communicated results
- Be both formative and summative to drive instruction.
- Relevant, on-going and at reasonable intervals
